Your nail extensions will need constant care and attention, they need maintenance from your Nail Technician every 2-3 weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow. If you take care and look after your nail extensions treating them with cuticle oil and keeping them in shape the more cost effective this will be for you as the client.
Acrylic Extensions
A plastic nail extension is applied with resin. Acrylic is overlaid to strengthen and bond. A choice of standard or French tip, for that French look without polish, is available.
Fibreglass / Silk
Fibreglass / Silk can be applied in two ways:

Wraps
Natural nails can be strengthened with a fibreglass / Silk mesh bonded with a resin. This process is also known as a 'Fibreglass / Silk Wrap'. Broken nail tips or split nails can be repaired using this method.

Tips
Layers of resin and a fibreglass mesh is applied over an artificial nail tip to form a nail extension. The nail is then buffed to give a natural look. A french or natural tip can be applied.
Gel Nails
Gel can be applied in two ways:
Tips or Overlay
Gel is a nail treatment that strengthens and promotes the growth of natural nails. Applied onto a prepared nail / tip, the product cures under a UV lamp, leaving the nail strong but flexible with a natural glossy finish.
